Since Friday midday, 1,145 new cases of COVID 19 reported by the state’s coronavirus website. 30 of those in Marshall County for 1,184, 18 in Story county for 934 , 12 in Jasper County and 7 in Tama County.  The statewide total is now      38, 813.

No new deaths reported in our immediate area, but the statewide total has risen 11 to 793.

221 Iowans remain hospitalized, with 76 of those in ICU.
