Trying to keep a business going right now is tough enough with the pandemic. Imagine that you had just opened, felt like you were seeing some growth…and then COVID. That is what happened to the owners of Bella Sera, a full-service Italian restaurant that opened on February 5th. Co-owner Benny Sahiti says they got four or five weeks under their belts and the coronavirus restrictions had them scrambling.
They had already made improvements to the décor in the building at the Best Western Regency Inn prior to the February opening. Sahiti says the initial feedback was positive and they were getting busier and busier, but now, it has been like having to open all over again.
