Alliant Energy continues to hack away at those outage numbers across the state and in Central Iowa.

Just over 73,000 in its service are still without power, with over 5,000 of those in the Marshalltown Area.

Cedar Rapids leads the way outage wise, with nearly 32,000 customers still power-less.

Consumers Energy is down to four members without power over three counties. 35 Rural Electric customers still need power in Tama county and 21 in Story County.
