How long will it take the city to pick up all the limbs and branches off of the curves? Longer than two weeks according to Marshalltown City Administrator Jessica Kinser. Kinser says the city did learn some lessons from the tornado two years ago, including not having the small stuff wash down the street and into the storm sewers.

If your pile in the yard has been passed by for whatever reason, Kinser again asks for your patience. She says the City will let everyone know when it is ready for it’s final tour of town for pick up of branches.
