The Marshall County Board of Supervisors has approved two areas for the public to take their tree limbs and branches to for disposal. One is north of Garwin Road and West of Wallace Avenue, also known as the old triangular turnoff, the other in a farm field 1/2 mile west of Highway 14 on 265th Street.

The City of Ames reminds residents that this will be the last weekend to use the storm debris drop off site the former coal yard at 308 East Avenue. That site will close to the public at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 7th.
