If you have followed the COVID-19 numbers over the weekend, you probably saw some consternation about numbers going down, up, sideways…the State said it was due to a maintenance glitch, which was corrected.

So, let’s start the week with the Monday morning baseline;

64,599 cases to date, 2,362 in Story County, 1,639 in Marshall County, Tama with 622.

The death toll related to the rona now 1,112, which is up 21 from Friday, with three new deaths attributed to Marshall County for 32.

Also in the “what’s going on here category”, the Iowa Veteran’s Home is still listed as an outbreak facility, even though IVH announced last week it had zero patients on its COVID unit.
