The Ames School District will begin the school year 100 percent online, with no in-person classes. The School Board voted last night to move forward with that plan with classes scheduled to begin next Tuesday. The reason, of course, is the positivity rate for COVID in the county being 21.1 percent.
Going all online will also pause any fall sports during that time. That would include the September 11th football game between the Little Cyclones and the Bobcats in Marshalltown.
