594 new cases added to the state’s rona website since midday yesterday pushes the total over 85,000 to 85,031. It also pushes the positivity rate for testing up to 11.1 percent
20 new cases in Story County, 13 in Jasper County, with Marshall County adding three new cases. That makes Marshall County’s total 1,777.
Seven more deaths statewide increase that to-date number to 1,311.
Governor Kim Reynolds has extended the order keeping bars closed in Story, as well as Johnson County, through next Sunday, October 4th.
Liquor establishments may still serve carry-out. Restaurants must stop serving alcohol at 10:00pm in those two counties.
