19 additional fatalities and 393 new cases of COVID added to the state’s website since yesterday noon. One of the new deaths reported in Hardin County, the state total now 1,481.

100,451 is the to-date total of confirmed cases. 13 of the new cases in Story County, five in Marshall County.

463 Iowans are now hospitalized with the rona, up 14 from yesterday. 114 of those in ICU.

The coronavirus has closed down the Story County treasurer’s office. A positive COVID case has all functions, including emails and calls shut down. It is hoped the software for appointments will be available to the public by tomorrow.
