Story County has joined the list of counties where an open burn ban is in place.  Story County  Emergency Management coordinator, Keith Morgan says several factors led to the ban.

There were 16 other counties along with Story that had burn bans as of yesterday. Among those are Hardin, Jasper, and Webster.
