Over the last 48 hours, nearly 24-hundred new confirmed cases of COVID have been reported to the state’s website. The to-date total now 116,237, with a positivity testing rate now 12.4 %. 33 new cases in Story County, 24 in Jasper and 17 in Marshall County. Marshall County by the way now at 2,014, Story County 11 cases away from 4,000.

Six additional deaths, one in Hardin County, make it 1,635.

Another record number of folks spent last night in Iowa hospitals, 561. 129 in ICU.
