October’s weather ended up being one of the coldest on record, per State Climatologist Justin Glisan. Any October that produces half a foot of snow in parts of the state really isn’t normal.

As for November, Glisan says some are predicting a “snowmageddon”, but he sees a more gradual approach to winter from Mother Nature.
