Marshall County races saw Sue Cahill capture the state representative 71 seat over Tony Reed;

Dean Fisher was re-elected to District 72 by defeating Christina Blackcloud;

Jeff Edler retained his State Senate 36 seat over challenger Dave Degner;

Steve Salasek was reelected to the Marshall County Board of Supervisors over Thomas Thurston.

In Story County, incumbent Beth Wessel-Kroeschell handily defeated Eric Cooper for State Rep in District 45.

In District 48, it was Robert Bacon over Jack Friend;

District 49 was won by Dave Deyoe over Selden Spencer;

Latifah Faisal and Lisa Heddens won Board of Supervisors races;

and Larry Hall defeated Matt Gruhn for Richland Township Trustee.
