For the first time in nearly two weeks, the 14 day positivity test rate in Marshall County has fallen below 20 percent. As of this morning, the rate had dropped to 19.5 percent. The state’s rolling average is 22 percent.

38 more deaths reported since midday yesterday, three in Grundy County, one each in Marshall and Jasper counties. The state fatality total now 2,102. Just over three thousand new confirmed cases reported since midday yesterday for 197,537, 147 new cases in Story County, 35 in Jasper County and 27 in Marshall County.

Those spending the night in the hospital was down by 11 from yesterday’s record high to 1,516.
