National Weather Service Meteorologist, Alex Krull, says cold winds will accompany the snow but says it probably won’t be blowing a lot.

It could be our second real taste of winter. Krull reminds the last major snowfall in the central Iowa area came in a rare occurrence back on October 19th — when a snow squall” dropped as much as nine inches.
