Roughly 74 thousand doses of COVID vaccine is expected to arrive in Iowa on Sunday. The Iowa Department of Public Health says 19,500 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 53,800 doses of the Moderna vaccine are headed to the state.

An additional 19,500 Pfizer vaccines and 19,500 Moderna vaccines are expected to arrive on Sunday, Dec. 27.

1,275 new COVID-19 cases listed this morning on the state’s website, with a new grand total of 263,492. 37 more cases in Story County, 22 in Marshall County and 15 in Hardin County.

Hospitalizations continue to decrease, down 45 last night to 701 Iowans in hospitals around the state.
