The Iowa Legislature makes its 2021 debut this week, with not only the shadow of COVID, but the shadow of the unrest in the nation’s capitol. Republican State Representative Dean Fisher of Montour called last week’s assault on the US Capitol unfortunate, but we should not allow the actions of a few detract from the concern about the integrity of the election process.
