Marshalltown Mayor Joel Greer has extended the mask mandate he originally issued back in early September. That mandate requested all folks over the page of two to wear a mask in a public place where social distancing would be less than six feet and while using public transportation.

He believes the mandate has helped limit the spread of COVID-19…and will continue to do so.

The proclamation says a violation of the policy is considered a vio9lation of decency and respect for the health of others.
