A Marshalltown woman died after being struck by a train yesterday morning.

The victim was identified as Teresa Hannam. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says Union pacific contacted the comm center after the incident about a half-mile southeast of the Marshall County Landfill. The investigation into Hannum’s death is continuing.
