The first Monday of the month means plenty of meetings around Central Iowa.

The Poweshiek County Board of Supervisors meet at 8:30;

The Grundy County Board of Supervisors at 9:00;

The South Tama and Marshalltown school boards will each meet beginning at 5:00 this afternoon;

The Marshalltown City Council will meet in special session at 5:30 this evening to continue discussion of 2022 budget-related items, including a presentation by the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce on tourism as it relates to the Hotel-Motel Tax.
