The Iowa Hawkeye women take the six-seed into tonight’s opener in the Big Ten Tournament against 11th seeded Purdue. The Hawkeyes enter the postseason with a record of 15-8.

Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says the Hawkeyes hope to build momentum for the NCAA Tournament.

To win the tournament the Hawkeyes will need to win four games in four days. Tonight’s winner advances to take on third seed Rutgers tomorrow.
