It’s open…it’s operational…and folks were overheard

saying it’s awesome. A lot of folks made their way through the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum yesterday for the Open House, two and a half years post tornado. In the summer of 2019 after a campaign began to raise 1-point-three million dollars to help rebuild the facility, Iowa recording artist Jason Brown headlines an outdoor concert in front of the damaged Coliseum. He was at the Open House and marveled at, but wasn’t surprised by the transformation.

Jason even mentioned the possibility, now that we are on the downside of this COVID thing, he just might want to book a return performance to celebrate.
