The Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association has been looking through the latest annual report from the National Association on Race, Ethnicity and Alzheimer’s In America. Communications Director for the Iowa Chapter, Lauren Livingston, says it’s, unfortunately, no surprise that people of color are not receiving the same treatment as other ethnic groups.
The Alzheimer’s Association is sponsoring a seminar next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday online called the BrainWorks Conference. If you liked to learn more about the study or memory loss in general, just go to alz.org to see more information and to register.
