A strong showing for the Marshalltown Bobcat boys at the district tennis meet in Johnston. The Cats captured the district crown and is sending at least five netters on to state. Nic Price advanced in singles play, while the doubles teams of Nile Christensen and Ethan Benscoter advanced, despite losing to teammates Kevin and Jason Strand in the finals match. The Bobcat team will face either Council Bluffs Lincoln or Roosevelt on the 22nd for a team berth at state.
