A man has been charged with a late afternoon bank robbery on Wednesday in Ames. Police say the man went into the First National Bank on 5th street just after 4:30 Wednesday, jumped the teller county and demanded money. Kang Chotkuac of Ames was arrested several blocks away and charged with 2nd-degree robbery.
