One phase down, one to go when it comes to Marshalltown’s West End Park. A ribbon-cutting will be held at 5:00 today (Wednesday) for Phase 1 of the improvements at the new shelter at the park on 13th street.
Marshalltown Parks & Rec Director Geoff Hubbard says the ribbon cutting will also feature something not usually seen at ribbon cuttings, so we’ll see what he has up his sleeve. Phase 2 of the West End Park improvements is slated for next year.
