Deonte Dean did his thing as the Bobcat speedster earned the number one seed in tomorrow’s 200 meter dash at the State Track and Field Championships. Dean set the fastest time of the day in yesterday’s prelims. Dean also qualified for the finals in the 100 dash. Luke Pinnick of West Marshall medaled with an 8th place finish in the shot.
GMG’s Sydney Vavroch and Gladbrook-Reinbeck’s Belen Ellenberger finished in the top 8 on the girls’ side in the long jump.
