When it came to the pandemic…and masks, there was little doubt about the position Marshalltown Mayor Joel Greer has taken on the issue. After the Governor signed a bill banning mask mandates for counties, cities and schools, Mayor Joel Greer says he knew he couldn’t enforce a mask mandate.

Greer notes that as the pandemic continues to wane, plus the positive movements forward post-tornado and derecho, it’s a bit more enjoyable these days to be the Mayor of Marshalltown.
