The Marshalltown girls golf team is tied for second going into todays final round of the 4A state tourney. The Bobcats shot a team score of 345 and is tied with Pleasant Valley. Both squads are 41 shots back of team leader Valley. The Bobcats Amber Hensor fired an opening round of 76 and is tied for 6th, 9 shots off the pace of Valley’s Paige Hoffman.
At the 3A tourney, Nevada is in 9trh place, while at the 2A State at the Legion course in Marshalltown, Van Meter has the team lead. In 1A, Grundy Center is second, behind Bishop Garrigan.
