A Marshalltown woman is dead after the motorcycle she was on was rear-ended by another vehicle Saturday night.

The Iowa State Patrol says Shelley Tuttle was thrown off the motorcycle after it was hit from behind by an SUV driven by Jadyn Palmer of Marshalltown. The crash happened on West of Wallace Avenue on Main Street.
