A 9-year old was airlifted to a Des Moines hospital after an incident over the weekend at Rock Creek State Park in Jasper County.

The boy was reported missing in the water around 5:30 Saturday afternoon. He was located about eight minutes later and bystanders began performing CPR. At last report, there was no word on the boys’ condition.
