The man accused of killing another man in March of last year has declined a jury trial and has been convicted of first degree murder.
The verdict against Robert Thomas was issued by Judge John Haney in the death of Johnqwez Lewis. Thomas is also convicted of shooting and injuring Devonte Brooks during the same incident. Thomas is scheduled to be sentenced on September 29th.
