Iowa State offensive lineman Trevor Downing says he is healthy and ready for a new season. The junior from Creston was injured in last year’s season opener against Louisiana and never returned to the field. He watched as Iowa State made it to the Big 12 Championship Game and closed it out with a win over Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.

Downing says experience has helped the offensive line become a strength of the team.
