It’ll be scrimmage time for Ames, Marshalltown and other high school teams Friday night, with just one week before the season begins.

Both The Bobcats and Little Cyclones will state pre-season scrimmages, along with community pep rallies. The Marshalltown varsity will scrimmage at 6:00, Ames at 7:30. Ames and Marshalltown open the season at Leonard Cole Field on the 27th.
