A Saturday night fire in Ames did an estimated $150,000 in damage, but did not result in any injuries.

Firefighters responded to a call in the 43-hundred block of Harrison Circle. The fire was springing from the garage and firefighters were able to stop it from spreading through the entire house. The fire is not considered suspicious.
