With construction moving along on the addition to its Southside Campus, Unity Point Health Marshalltown is also trying to prepare to put the final touches on its new Urgent Care Clinic at Center Street and Olive Street in Marshalltown. Hospital Administrator Shari King says they hope to start seeing patients in early October. She says the location was chosen to be further north of the South Campus.

King says the new clinic will offer a better experience for patients as compared to the layout at the existing Urgent Care space at the South Campus. That space will be utilized for a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation department. If all goes well, King says the clinics will relocate to the new campus in mid-March, with the hospital facilities joining the clinics in mid-April.
