Donations keep coming in and the Community Foundation of Marshall County continues to turn those funds right back around for projects in the County. Seven grants totaling $86,000 have been announced for projects like tree removal at the Animal Rescue League and the Marshalltown Arts and Civic Center, a sign replacement for Goodwill, roof replacement, work for the new Senior Citizen’s Center being constructed, playground equipment at St. Francis School and for the rebuild of the 2^nd Hand Thrift Store on South 3^rd Avenue, run by Jonathan’s House International.

Foundation Executive Director Julie Hitchins adds donations range from five dollars and up from individuals to 15 thousand from Lennox International help make these and future grants possible.
