After getting hammered by Purdue the Iowa Hawkeyes are no longer considered a top ten team. The Hawks are 11th in the A-P Poll after a 24-7 loss to the Boilermakers. Quarterback Spencer Petras was picked off four times as Purdue beat the Hawkeyes for the fourth time in five meetings.

Iowa has a bye week to lick its proverbial wounds. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz hopes his team puts it to good use.

Five more games to go for the Hawks, who could still see themselves in a top-tier bowl game by season’s end.
