A search and arrest in Nevada turned into an extended standoff yesterday. The Story County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office with the arrest of a Marshalltown man who was armed and may have been distributing meth out of the house in Nevada. The Story county SWAT was able to take Daniel Sheets into custody without any injuries. Story County Sheriff Paul Fitzgerald says Sheets was found hiding in a craw space around a couple of bins.
