Union workers at Lennox International’s Marshalltown facility ratified a new five-year contract yesterday. The outcome was posted on the Facebook page of UAW Local 893. No numbers were released. Union officials referred comments to Lennox, which has not responded to messages.
While voters go to the polls today for city/school elections, John Deere workers will elect whether or not to approve a new six-year contract. UAW members went on strike October 14th after rejecting the first proposed contract.
