The Spartans have another chance for a state title. Grundy Center handled Woodbury Central 28 to 7 in the semi-finals of the Class A football championships yesterday in the Dome.

The Spartans advance to next Thursday’s championship tilt versus West Hancock, which shut out East Buchanan 37-0.

The Spartans defeated West Hancock in last year’s semis before falling to Regina Catholic in the championship contest.
