The Iowa men return to action tonight by hosting Missouri-Kansas City. The Hawkeyes opened with a lopsided win over Longwood. Iowa coach Fran McCaffery noted the Hawkeyes connected on 15 three-pointers in the opener and played some pretty decent defense.

McCaffery says with the transfer portal and the added year provided by COVID there will be a lot of upsets in non-conference play and points to Navy’s 66-58 win over 25th ranked Virginia on Tuesday night.
