* WHAT...South to southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts of 60 to
  70 mph possible. Winds will become more westerly later this
  evening.

* WHERE...Much of Iowa.

* WHEN...From noon Wednesday to midnight CST Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines.
  Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles. Fires may spread quickly, with
  blowing dust possible as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
