Iowa State heads into the Christmas break with a 12-0 record. The ninth-ranked Cyclones poured it on in the second half to beat Chicago State 79-48.
Isaiah Brockington led ISU with 20 points and 13 rebounds and continues his dominant play.
The Cyclones are off until New Year’s Day Big 12 opener at home against top-ranked Baylor.
Iowa jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 93-62 win over Southeastern Louisiana as the Hawkeyes improve to 9-3. Keegan Murray finished with 20 points after being saddled with two fouls in the opening half.
The Hawkeyes are off until hosting Western Illinois on December 29th.
