Officials at the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA have announced that a series of upgrades will be taking place at the facility, beginning this week.

New carpet is being installed on the second floor of the Horne-Henry Center building. Work will begin in the south hallway and progress from there.

Current staff will do their best to minimize interruptions to workouts. Members using the “Y” are advised that some equipment may be moved from its regular location to accommodate the upgrade. Signage will be posted in the affected areas informing members of the current situation.
