Story County will receive almost $19 million dollars in federal funding under the American Rescue Plan Act.
At its meeting last week, the Story County Board of Supervisors allocated roughly $11 million dollars in funding.
About $4.3 million dollars will go to water quality and wastewater projects in several communities, and over $4.6 million dollars will be spent on projects deemed to address a negative economic impact. Around two million dollars is slated for public health response projects.
