The Nevada High School FFA Chapter received two first place “Gold Awards” at the Sub-District FFA Leadership Contest held Wednesday at West Marshall High School in State Center.

Nevada’s Parliamentary Procedure team and Chapter Program of Activities both received first place Gold Awards. Parliamentary Procedure team members include Mady Gibson, Isabelle Nelson, Kylie Taylor, Reagan Schmidt, and Arianna Chappel. Nevada’s chapter program group includes Josie Kelly, Paige Handsaker, and Chloe Peterson.

Other Nevada FFA contest results showed Calvin Franzen receiving a Silver Award in the Ag Sales contest category, Maddie Dunham receiving a bronze award in Public Speaking, and Rheanna Havon earning a bronze Award in the category of Radio Broadcasting. The Freshman Conduct team also received a Bronze Award, as well.

The North Central District Contest will be held on Saturday, March 5th at Belmond Klemme High School in Belmond.
