This is “National FFA Week,” a period set aside to honor young people who have expressed a sincere interest in promoting and also pursuing a career in today’s farming industry.

Chellney Newhouse, a spokesperson for the Marshall County Farm Bureau organization, says FFA Week is a unique event which highlights the important role that young people play in today’s agricultural society.

National FFA Week kicked off on February 19th and runs through February 26th.
