Marshalltown Police arrested a man within the city limits of Marshalltown early Tuesday morning on a variety of charges.

Forty-eight-year-old Seamus Kaye was arrested by police on charges of 2nd Degree Robbery; Assault Causing Bodily Injury; 5th Degree Theft; Having Possession of a Controlled Substance; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Marshalltown Police have arrested a man on a burglary charge stemming from an incident that occurred early Wednesday morning on the city’s east side.

Thirty-four-year-old Preston Phipps was arrested by police on a charge of 1st Degree Burglary while Possessing an Explosive Device or Weapon.
