The Marshalltown High School Boys Bowling team finished as the state runner-up in class 3-a at the 2022 Iowa High School State Bowling Championships held Wednesday at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo.

In the quarterfinal round, Marshalltown defeated Davenport Central three games to none.

In the semi-finals, the Bobcats won over Bettendorf by the same 3-0 score.

The Bobcats then faced Waukee in the finals where they were defeated three games to none in a best-of-five championship series.
